1. Who we are

Valmont Web Services ("we", "our", "Valmont") builds websites and online shops for Ghanaian businesses. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our normal business communication channels, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

2. What we collect

We collect the information you choose to give us. That includes:

• Your name and the name of your business
• Your phone number, WhatsApp number and email address
• Details about your business and what you want your website to do
• Content you send us for your project — photos, price lists and text
• Payment and agreement details needed to deliver your website (kept in written receipts and signed agreements)

The free quote form on this website saves your name, phone, optional email, what you need, and your message into our lead database so we can reply. If that save fails, the same details can be sent to us on WhatsApp at your choice.

When you browse the site, Google Analytics 4 collects limited technical and usage information, such as the pages you visit, your approximate location, the site or campaign that referred you, your device and browser type, and basic page interactions. We do not send your name, phone number, email address, quote-form message or payment details to Google Analytics.

3. How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and give you a written quotation
• To plan, build, deliver and hand over your website
• To provide the support included in your package or retainer
• To keep proper business records and receipts
• To understand which pages people use and improve the site's content and performance

We do not send spam. Any message we send beyond our agreed project work relates directly to your website or a service you asked about.

4. What we never do

• We never sell, rent or trade your personal information
• We never share your business data with competitors or marketers
• We never publish your content or project details publicly without your permission

5. WhatsApp, payments and other third parties

We use WhatsApp and phone calls for fast communication. Quote requests submitted on this site are stored in a Supabase database that we control (project used only for Valmont enquiries). Payments on this site are started on Valmont Pay, a Valmont Group product. We use Google Analytics 4 for website-usage statistics. We may also connect a finished website to domain registrars, hosts and card/MoMo processors. Those services process data under their own privacy policies. WhatsApp is a product of Meta Platforms, Inc.; this site is not affiliated with or endorsed by WhatsApp or Meta.

6. Cookies and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-SS8T4T65YR) to measure visits and understand which pages are useful. The Google tag is downloaded from www.googletagmanager.com and sends analytics measurements to www.google-analytics.com. Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish a browser and its sessions.

Advertising signals and ad-personalisation signals are disabled in our site configuration. We use this installation for site statistics, not to run an advertising campaign or send your quote-form details to Google. Google may process analytics data on systems outside Ghana under its own privacy policy.

You can block or delete analytics cookies in your browser. You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking analytics does not stop you from using this site or contacting us. Your browser may separately store a short local note after you send a quote so the same form cannot be spammed from that device. No account is created when you browse.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry and project records for as long as they are useful for the work we did together and for our normal business records. Google Analytics event data is kept according to the retention setting in our Analytics property and is then deleted automatically. You can ask us to delete your personal information at any time after your project is complete, and we will do so unless the law requires us to keep specific records (for example, tax records).

8. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to show you the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also object to or restrict particular processing. Message or email us and we will act on genuine requests promptly.

9. Security

This site is served over HTTPS. The public form can submit an enquiry but cannot read anyone else's leads. We limit access to client information to the people working on your project, and we never ask for your banking passwords or MoMo PIN — payments happen through Valmont Pay or another written channel against a receipt.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update this page and the date above. The version on this page always applies.
