Do I need a cart and a checkout on a car website?
No, and a cart would work against you. A vehicle sale ends in a conversation, a viewing and paperwork, not an online checkout, so the site is built around handled enquiries and a booking — with an optional reservation deposit through Valmont Pay if you want to hold a car. If you also sell parts, tyres or accessories that people do buy outright, that part can be an ordinary shop on the same site.
The demo works out a monthly payment and takes a trade-in. Is that real?
The calculator in the demo works out the monthly figure from the deposit and the term you choose. That is arithmetic, not a bank offer, and a live version would use the rates and terms you set. The trade-in form captures the car the customer is driving and sends it to you — what you offer for it stays your decision. Both are custom work on top of the starting price and are quoted in writing.
How long does it take?
We usually build in about 7 days once we have your deposit and your content — your photos, your text or price list, your business details. We are committed to delivering a working website within 30 days of receiving both, and if we miss that your deposit comes back to you. Time spent waiting for content or approvals does not count against that clock.
How do I pay, and do I own it afterwards?
